Ginger (Zingiber officinale): Used to stimulate appetite and improve digestion; also for upset stomach, heartburn, vomiting and cramps. Stimulates circulation and is a useful diaphoretic, promoting perspiration. Has strong antibiotic and antioxidant properties. Also used for coughs, cold, flu, fevers and as a gargle for sore throat.
